Alcan Cable’s ALGUARD® two layer ruggedized cables bring our outstanding performance and reliability to your underground electrical delivery circuits. Our trademarked ALGUARD® technology protects your circuits from repeated physical or mechanical abuse with two layer insulation. The outer layer is a high-density polyethylene designed to keep your cable safe from mechanical harm throughout the life of the installation. Since each installation is different, the cables are available with one, two, or three phase conductors twisted with a neutral conductor. The neutral is equal in size to, or two sizes smaller than, the phase conductors.
