STABILOY® Type MC Cable with PVC Jacket

Alcan Cable’s Type MC Cable with Jacket is designed for both above-ground and underground applications. This cable includes a PVC jacket and is listed for direct burial, for application in cable trays, and for wet locations and sunlight resistance.

STABILOY® MC Cable consists of either three or four insulated phase-identified conductors plus a bare equipment grounding conductor inside interlocked aluminum alloy armor.  The entire assembly is covered with a PVC jacket for added durability and protection.

The unique construction of STABILOY MC Cable provides significant savings in installation time and cost.

 

Features 

  • Interlocked aluminum armor construction with PVC jacket for use in wet locations
  • Meets the requirements of Underwriters Laboratories Inc., Standard #1569 for Metal-Clad Cables and Standard #44 for insulated conductors
  • Conductor insulation is free of harmful heavy metals in compliance with RoHS, Directive 2002/95/EC
  • Approved for use in cable trays, power, lighting, and signal circuits, in accordance with the recommendations of the National Electrical Code®
  • Recognized by ASTM in Standards B 800, B 801, B 836 and B 901
